As most of the world has seen, Victoria has experienced the worst fires we have ever known.

The reactions of most people have been amazing, each wanting to help in some small way.
Hoping, I think, to make it better for those affected by this natural(?)disaster.


One hundred and eighty-nine people have lost their lives, some still missing, a few may never be found. For some the fire storm was so ferocious they never saw it coming.

I have an old memory of the smell of smoke and a wet wool blanket.


I have a new memory of the sight of obliterated homes and burnt-out cars.

seems like a long time ago.....

Lots have happened since last I posted, but nothing much has changed.

I now work full time, frothy is now nine and oz,well he has had a few rough days lately.

My hope for this year is for my family to be safe,settled and happy.
